| Post traumatic stress disorder, or PTSD, is a mental condition in which a person has suffered some form of trauma and often relives that experience in their minds as if it is currently happening. These episodes can be referred to as "Flashbacks" which are often caused or brought on by what we call "Triggers". This is my understanding of PTSD in the most plain way of putting it.
